Food Processor The Power Prep Plus represents the first major redesign of the Cuisinart since its debut in 1973. It features a redesigned dough blade—actually, two sharp stainless steel blades—as well as a designated “dough” button and a redesigned feed tube with a simplified lid release. The smooth touch-pads wipe clean with a sponge. Unlike the plastic dough blade in previous models, these steel blades cut rather than drag through the dough, providing smoother kneading of larger quantities. The dough button reduces the RPMs during mixing, making dough less likely to overheat. This unit includes a cookbook and instructional videotapes.
